Music

In music we follow our own bespoke curriculum for music.  We explore how music has developed through time by listening to the works of famous composers through the ages.  Children learn to play instruments in KS1 and recorders in KS2.  They also develop their musicality through singing and through composing.  We focus on pictorial scores in KS1.  By the end of KS2, children will have learned to read and write notes on the stave.
